A dengue vaccine is set for distribution in Indonesia next year. Dengue, a mosquito-borne illness, accounts for 400 million yearly infections worldwide, and over 20,000 deaths. Some researchers argue the new dengue vaccine is a safety concern. (Nature)
Kronos Bio suspended a phase 3 study of its leukemia therapeutic entospletinib. The trial was to enroll 180 participants across several countries, but was ended due to enrollment issues. (Fierce Biotech)
